Pastoral Pipes to return to Edinburgh

This magnificent set of pastoral pipes, probably made by Hugh Robertson in Edinburgh in the late 18th century, will be coming back to Edinburgh next month having been acquired by the Edinburgh University Collection of Historic Musical Instruments at auction on Thursday, September 19th

 Many, many thanks to those who contributed. We look forward to seeing the pipes when they arrive some tiimme in mid-October.
