28 years of Lowland and Border piping competitions
At this year's competition, held on Saturday April 2nd in Edinburgh, the winner of the open class for Lowland/Border pipes was Paul Roberts. This year was the 28th competition. The very first Lowland and Border Pipers' competition was held at the School of Scottish Studies in Edinburgh in 1984. The winner then was Paul Roberts.
