Moderator's test post. the Notify me message is only visible at thestart of a new topic; it is the label to the 'Subscribe' check box.
Ah, I see now; the unreadable 'hint' notice that is displayed is actually instructions for the Attahcments 'Add File' button; that's why clicking it opens Explorer; so that you can choose the file to upload; not immediately obvious I agree, especially since the message in the bos is unreadable; All you need to do is tick the Subscribe check box; once a topic is posted you can click the 'Subscribe' button, as I did in my other repsonse to the notification post

OK - I have now edited the css file and the text displays, giving advice on the file types you can upload. I hope this sorts out this little slip on the Kunena coders' part.

Explorer opens for you to choose a file to upload as an attachment; it has nothing to do with notification if all you want to do is subscribe to the topic, just tick the 'Subscribe' check box at the left before you submit the post; otherwise you can click the Subscribe button at the bottom of the thread page at any time when viewing the thread;

CC&I facilities? sorry - what are they?

At the bottom of a New Topic page is a label :Subscribe - next to it is a check box; checking this box will subscribe you to the thread; it does not display 'explorer; I agree that if you carefully hover your cursor at the very top of the label that explains the check box's purpose you can get a pop-up hint field that aplies to the row above, for adding files as attachments, and clicking then will open explorer; simply checking the box will not; well, I've tested this on Firefox and IE 8; are you using a different browser? I'm not sure what else I can do .. has anyone else experienced this as a problem?
However, if this is CC&I for you, post the topic and then click the 'Subscribe' button after your post is displayed
